Agata Kornhauser-Duda, First Lady of Poland, visited Wejherowo

On Monday, the 10th of February, Agata Kornhauser-Duda went to Wejherowo, where she paid a visit to local Special Education Centre for disabled people.

On the occasion of her visit, students from Special Education Centre prepared a special performance, referring to Japanese culture,
as well as the musical composition, referring to unique traditions of Kaszuby.

I am extremely grateful that you were willing to tell me about your centre’s activities. I am impressed by the comprehensive support you give to disabled children,

said Kornhauser-Duda during her visit.

Special Education Centre in Wejherowo is a place, where several dozen years ago the Siberian Children, saved by Japan, found their home, having come back to Poland.
During her visit, the First Lady, learnt about the centre’s history and reflected on her recent visit to Fukudenkai Welfare Centre in Tokyo.
