Far East Echo
“Echo Dalekiego Wschodu” (Far East Echo) is a magazine published in Tokyo by Anna Bielkiewicz in 1922.
Its aim was to increase the awareness of Japanese people about such a distant country like Poland,
which is why the magazine was published in three languages – Polish, Japanese and English.
One of the regular readers of Bielkiewicz’s magazine was Empress Sadako herself.
Two copies of “Echo Dalekiego Wschodu”
are available online on the website of Mazowiecka Biblioteka Cyfrowa.
