On 20.11.2024, the annual school memorial day of being named as Siberian Children Memorial Elementary School was organised in the newly opened school building in Stara Wieś.

The guests included the representative from the Embassy of Japan in Poland, those who are from the circle of the history of Siberian Children as well as Ukrainians who are involved in the school.
During the event, there was a performance by students to introduce the school and children presented songs and dances to the audience, which among them included the Polish traditional folk dance and performance with Japanese Yukata. The meeting showed the very strong relationship between Japan and Poland in the school.
